Living in such a beautiful place as Aotearoa (New Zealand) you can't help but be a landscape painter. Painting the light and serenity in an area really helps me to feel connected and to pass on my experience to the viewer. My landscapes often feature coastal regions as New Zealand is an island nation, and the coast is never far away.
